In April 2014 I stored passwords in the Password Safe database *.psafe3. Now I need to access the saved passwords, but I don't know how to display the database log-in screen where I've entered my user name and safe combination.

You need to open the software in order to access the database. If you have the software installed, go to this location to launch the application: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Password Safe\pwsafe.exe". In case the software is not installed, download it through Sourceforge and proceed to its installation. After installation, launch the software and you should have the possibility to open the log-in and the database selection screen, just like the one below.

Yes, you can transfer the application and its database to another computer but there could be a problem along the way. Since this is not a free application, you need to make sure that the serial number allows more than one installation. For this query, you might need to ask the developer. Secondly, you need to use File > Backup data button in order export the database. It's recommended to generate a password for the database.
